ORGANIZATION LEGACY

The Ellis Reynolds Brothers Golf Invitational began nearly three decades ago when seven Black coworkers from different departments came together to share experiences, network, and build community. Golf became their outlet, and Ellis turned those gatherings into a formal tournament.

From that foundation, the Invitational grew—not through open registration, but by invitation only, extended to men of integrity, excellence, and respect. Many joined through hometown ties, business ventures, or bonds formed on the course.

Now 29 years strong, it remains a private legacy event where every handshake is earned, every pairing tells a story, and the next generation is groomed to carry forward the values of fellowship, competition, and Black excellence.
